We've tried them all! The difficulties of providing a good chat
room are boundless - even if it's working THIS end, the user's browser,
ISP, firewall etc. can all get in the way.
We have a PHP-chat room here
- most people find it easy to use but it doesn't like AOL much. If
you're on AOL, you'll probably need to open IE in a new window.

If you are a
subscriber to the Saddle-up forums, there is an integrated php chat room
restricted to Saddle-up members. You must be logged in to
Saddle-up to access it.
PLEASE be aware
that there is always a risk of meeting some odd people in chatrooms.
