my emoticons! when I reply to or start a new post the emoticon box on the left has disappeared. it is obviously a setting/option which the cat has kindly changed for me whilst dancing on my keyboard

Under the reply box there is a box with the words "Toggle side panel" in. Try clicking that, then getting your cat his/her own computer so you don't have to share.

my options box on the right doesn't work either?

I've just got a space where my emoticons should be.

My cat and I are going to have a domestic today if she carries on! she had the cheek to smack me cos I dared to blow on her.

obviously staying in does not agree with her

just to say I am still emoticonless and getting the garbled quote problem again

Have you checked under post options under the reply box ?

enable emoticons is ticked

I' ve uninstalled and re-installed firefox
